Friends of Kaw Point Park is now the sponsor of Friends of the Kaw’s “Adopt a Boat Ramp” program and will be hosting litter pickups monthly from March through November. We will supply trash bags but suggest that participants wear their own work gloves, study shoes or boots, and long pants. We will also be weeding the rain gardens and maintaining the woodland restoration on those dates. Gardening/Cleanup Events run from 9:00 to 11:30am. Friends of Kaw Point Park Board Meetings will follow at 11:30 on dates noted with *.
